About Dr. Rao



Dr. Kamala Rao has been a Board Certified Anesthesiologist in the United States for over 35 years. Her interest in laser cosmetics began over 10 years ago with an in-depth look at the amazing results achieved by recent breakthrough technologies in the field.

Born in Malaysia, she completed advanced medical training in India and England before opening her private practice in San Antonio in 1979.

The Laser Spa is a brand new stand-alone facility  It provides for your complete skin care needs in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.  We have plenty of parking without the hustle & bustle of strip mall locations.

Dr. Rao's Motto

Dr. Kamala Rao embraces the motto "When you look good, you feel good" and believes it extends throughout one's life.

In her spare time, she is a certified Advanced Yoga instructor and enjoys motivating students to achieve greater confidence and health in every possible way. Proud of her Indian heritage, Dr. Rao enjoys classical Indian music and dance and is an enthusiastic amateur golfer and cyclist.
